Our founding members have a deep-rooted tradition of community service and are guided by the belief that “There is greater happiness in giving…”
With the help of our families and close friends we have been donating school supplies, computers, and sporting equipment through the Deborah Dianne Kids Foundation since 2011.
However, in 2017 the Barrels of Smiles Foundation was established, in an effort to further expand our commitment to make a difference in the lives of students and families in our island home Jamaica.
It is our mission to encourage, empower and equip our youth with the knowledge, confidence and tools they need to realize their full potential. To show them that they are the architects of their own future and, despite the most challenging of circumstances, can design the life of their dreams.
Our values are built on the belief that education is one of the most powerful tools that can impact the quality of a child’s future. We believe that through education and personal development we can build strong individuals, better support families and in turn strengthen our communities.
School Supply Drive: Each year we raise funds to purchase back packs and school supplies for 75+ kids, Ages 2-16 from the Waterhouse, Drewsland, Pembroke Hall, Maverly and 440 communities in Kingston, Jamaica.
Our organization impacts a large number of children and families each year. It is through the generosity of supporters like you that we are able to sustain and grow our initiatives.
